This knife is just a great piece for not just a chef but for a home cook its just great with the perfect weight that only a real japanease knife can have. I already knew about the cuality of yoshihiro knifes but at the moment i open the box i was blow away for the perfect lines and the artistic designs, and afther i try out at my job this knife i just feel in love is extreamly sharp and gives a very fluent action in each cut

I have been using this knife for almost a month now. It arrived sharper than any knife I have ever used, and so far it has retained its edge perfectly. This knife is a pleasure to use. The handle is very comfortable and it is very light and easy to control. The layered steel blade is hypnotically beautiful. It is a shame to put this away in a drawer; it should be left out to be seen and admired.
