Each steel blade features the patented Schmidt Brothers Curve for superior control and safety, and the rare Teak Wood provides a soft, comfortable grip. The 15 piece full set includes a 8 inch Slicer, 6 inch Petit Chef, 7 inch Deli, 6 inch Double Edge Utility, 6 inch Tomato/Bagel, 4 inch Paring, 3 inch Paring, and six 5 inch Steak knives. Prepare to be amazed by the quality of these knives. If you've ever tried cutting through meat with dull knives, you'll be absolutely astounded by the incredible cutting ability that this premier set offers. While they're obviously not inexpensive, the cost is well worth it, considering that this is a knife set that will last a lifetime. They make preparing a meal a pleasure, and look gorgeous when displayed on your kitchen counter. The high quality German stainless steel blends beautifully into the soft teak wood and really makes a statement when guests arrive.

What I like most about the product 1) Looks beautiful on the counter top 2) Steel is good quality 3) The set of knives that comes with the block are a good variety 4) My other signature knives look good on the block too 5) Manufactures tips on website, include a video on turkey carving. What I liked least about the product 1) Inspite of other reviews I've read my knives didn't arrive at the peak of sharpness and needed additional sharpening 2) I thought the wood handles would have a finish but it's a natural texture and you will need bamboo oil to prevent the handles from becoming and looking dry & brittle. 3) Magnets on the block could be stronger. The knives tend to wobble or lean. Overall I think the product performs well and cosmetically looks nice but the quality of the teak wood could be better. I don't think they're dishwasher safe because of the handles. If you purchase the knives make sure to purchase bamboo oil too.
