don't buy this knife

I am sushi chef. my head chef bought shun pro 24cm yanagiba I bought 11-4/5 yanagiba. both of them were no good.I used whetstone 5 hours but still blade was not sharp enough.this knife quality is home cooking level not for professional.my head chef said that shun pro is only export item the company does not sell in japan because japanese chef does not pay for this quality.

Amazing knife for the price. This is not a restaurant quality yanagiba, as those cost upwards of $1000, but it's an amazing knife for the amateur sushi chef.
